Compass Church-Drawings

Original Drawings

Compass Church

The preliminary art work is the artist’s concept for a stained glass window.  It is usually small in scale, and is roughly shaped to the geometry of the window.  It may be nothing more than a small pencil sketch of a face, a hand, or a garment.  But it may also be single figure, a grouping, an architectural or landscape setting.  The preliminary art work for Compass Church includes all of the above, but also includes exquisite paintings of the completed concept for the windows “I Am the Light”, and “The Old Testament”.
